- [Instructor] The first thing you need to understand when dealing with compliance for generative AI topics is that everything is a work in progress at the international level. Regulations, government initiatives, industry standards, everything is being built, and that obviously adds some complexity for any company, including yours. Second, your generative AI projects may have different implications at a regulatory level, for example, data privacy obligations, if their generative AI projects include some personal or sensitive data such as private information for your clients or employees. In this case, acquiring a set of GDPR or CCPA should not be new for you, but if they are, you will need to revisit your data privacy and protection activities with your legal department.
