- [Instructor] Throughout this course, we have seen the normal curve and the power that goes with understanding the normal distribution. So let's go ahead and build a normal curve in Excel. So as you can see in Excel, I've provided a foundation for you to build off of. I've listed the first Z-value and with a normal distribution, we're going to need many Z-values to build that distribution. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to add 0.1. And what this is going to allow us to do is when we copy this down, you'll notice that it's taken us from a Z-value of negative three, so three standard deviations in a negative direction, all the way to positive three, three standard deviations in the positive direction.
