- Earlier in the course, we mentioned briefly the different cloud deployments and service models, but let's actually deep dive a little bit further into these deployment models and service models. The first one is public cloud, right? These are owner operated by third party service providers. These include things like AWS, Google Cloud Platform or GCP, Microsoft Azure, DigitalOcean, and many others out there. There's also private clouds that are dedicated to a single organization, and it can be physically located at the organization's onsite data center, or it can be hosted on a third party service provider as well. And in some cases, people call it that this is a glorified co-location, basically whenever you have the ability to run your systems in somebody else's data center. But at the end of the day, you know, that term has evolved through the concept of private clouds.
