There are five specific acts of creation you and I can engage in that will connect SharePoint and Teams. We've already talked about three of them, so we're going to zip through those briefly, so we have them all in one place when we're done. If I make a new team in Microsoft Teams, that team automatically gets a new SharePoint team site. And they will also get a new Microsoft 365 group. If I make a new private channel in Teams, that private channel gets its own SharePoint team site. Or if I make a new shared channel in Teams, that shared channel will then result in a new SharePoint team site. By the way, in SharePoint we would talk about all of these being SharePoint connected team sites. So the connected team sites means that they're connected to Microsoft Teams. We have two other actions we can engage in that will also generate this type of connection. As you've noted, I can create a Microsoft 365 group easily in Teams just by making a new team.
