Create a team from a M365 group
From the course: Collaborating with SharePoint and Teams
Create a team from a M365 group
Here I am in Outlook and you can create Microsoft 365 Groups and Outlook very easily. And users will often do this because one of the reasons that you might want to have a Microsoft 365 group is to have a shared calendar, and when you're thinking about the calendar, that really sort of drives you towards Outlook. I'll find my Microsoft 365 groups in New Outlook down here at the bottom. Here's Anniversary List, which is the group that we're going to be working with in this movie, KinetEco conversational Spanish focus groups, and so on. Then you can click more to see here all of the groups that are relevant to me. These aren't all the groups that exist, just my groups. But I would like to encourage you to click this groups button to see the new groups experience. I like this a lot. There's more space for groups, it shows me their logo as well as their name, and this anniversary group with five members is the Anniversary group that now would like to do some work in Microsoft Teams…
