Configuring a wireless LAN for WPA2 with a pre-shared key

(gentle music) - [Instructor] In an earlier video, we configured a wireless LAN. We called it engineering. That was the SSID, and we said that we would revisit the security settings. Well, now it's time to do that. We're going to build on that previous configuration in this video, and we're going to configure that wireless LAN to support WPA2 security, wifi protected access version two. We wanted to use the advanced encryption standard or AES. And for user authentication, we're going to use a pre-shared key or a PSK. Let's go to the live interface and see how to set this up. Let's go into that wireless LAN we created earlier by going under WLANs and we'll go into the engineering wireless LAN. And let's go under the security tab. We're going to be setting up layer two security. That's where we find WPA2. We have some other options. We probably do not want to use wired equivalent privacy because that is very weak.
