Use the COUNT command to analyze quantities of blocks in a drawing
- [Instructor] Once again, we're in our New Office Proposal_rev1.dwg file. And in this particular video, we're going to take a look at how we use the count command to analyze quantities of blocks in your AutoCAD drawings. Now what this does is it allows you to actually work out how many blocks are in your AutoCAD drawings. And it's a recent feature in recent versions of AutoCAD. It's incredibly useful. What it also allows you to generate is a table of those blocks and how many blocks are actually in your AutoCAD drawing. And what's really cool is the table will update if you remove or add blocks to the drawing as well. So let's take a look at how that works. Now you need the count palette up on the screen. Now the quick way to get that is to go to the view tab on the ribbon and you'll see there's the count palette on the palettes panel. Click there and there's your count palette like so. I'm just going to move it…
