Use object snap settings to create and edit objects

- [Instructor] We're staying in our Geometry_PRECISION.dwg file and we're going to take a look now at how we use object snaps to create and edit objects. Now before we do that, we want to make sure that our object snaps, our object snap tracking and our polar tracking are doing what they should. Now they're all controlled down on the status bar, bottom right. So down here you can see there's my object snaps. They are currently on, they're blue. If I click on the little arrow next to them you can see the Endpoint, Midpoint, Center, Intersection and Extension are ticked. Please make sure that you've got them ticked as well. They will be your running object snaps that are on all the time when you are working in AutoCAD. Click away in the screen somewhere to lose the menu. This one here is your object snap tracking, or auto snap. That allows you to use multiple object snaps to generate what they call reference lines, which…
