- [Instructor] We're staying in our Geometry_Precision.dwg file and we're going to take a look now at how we use dynamic input to create and edit objects in our drawings. We're going to look at point input, dimension input, and how the dynamic prompts assist us to draw an object in our AutoCAD drawings. Now, before we commit to that, we need to make sure that we have dynamic input available to us and it's actually switched on. Now by default, newer versions of AutoCAD do have dynamic input switched on, but it's not displayed on the status bar, down at the bottom right of the screen. Now I'm looking down here at the status bar. There's my dynamic input icon and it's on at the moment, it's called Dynmode. If I click on it there, it turns it off. Click on it again, turns it on.
