Create and restore a named UCS
- [Instructor] We're staying in the building plot.dwg file. And what we're going to take a look at is we're going to look at how we create and restore a named UCS as we manage our user coordinate systems. Now as I mentioned in the previous video, the building, the cyan colored lines, is obviously rotated at a bit of a weird angle. Now what we want is we want our cross hair to relate to the angle of the building. So we want to work with the angle of the building. Now there's a way of doing this, and what we do is we create a new UCS, and then we can use that UCS when we're working on the building and then perhaps go back to the world coordinate system, the WCS, when we need to just go back to our regular drafting. Now you can create a new UCS in two ways. I did mention it in the previous video. You can click here underneath the view cube, like so and I can click new UCS, and you can see there it's asking me to set up a new…
