- [Instructor] We're starting a new section of this particular chapter now, and we're going to be taking a look in this section about how we create and edit geometry. Now, there's lots of things to geometry in AutoCAD. There's things like lines, arcs, circles, polylines, rectangles, polygons. I can't stress enough how important accurate geometry is in an AutoCAD drawing. And AutoCAD provides you with some fantastic tools to create the geometry that is the basis of your design. A lot of that geometry is created in the Home tab in the draw panel here. And if I expand that out and just pin it open there, you can see there's so many different commands and flyouts just on that draw panel alone. Now I'm just going to unpin that again and let it fly back into the ribbon. We have a drawing for you to use for this particular section of the chapter. It's called New Office Proposal_Geometry.dwg.
