Configure production drawing output (OVERVIEW)

- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now where we're going to be taking a look at configuring and managing our design output. Now your design output is communicating your design intent. Now we've got a new drawing for you for this particular chapter and it's called Metal Plate_FINAL.dwg. You may recognize it from previous chapters in the course. Now the metal plate drawing has all been drawn up in the model tab and what we've got now if we look at our layout tabs is we have a plan view set up with a nice view port there. We have a detail sheet set up showing the detail of the bolt that goes through the metal plate. We've also got elevations and section views nicely set up on another sheet as well. I'll jump back to the model tab now. Now when we're communicating this design intent via our output, we need to configure certain settings within our drawings. Now we've got the Metal Plate_FINAL.dwg file for you, so download that from the library ready to follow with the sections in this particular chapter because what we're going to do is take you through how you work with all of your output and effectively communicate your design to others.
