- [Instructor] In this particular video, we're going to take a look at how we assign and manage our layer properties. Now this is one of the topics that may get covered in the exam, so it's worthwhile just loading up the exercise files and making sure that you follow along with the video. Now we're in our new officeproposal.dwg file, and I want to show you how to load line types and then apply those line types to your drawing. Now you can do this in two ways. If you want to load a line type up using layer properties, in the layers panel here in the home tab on the ribbon, click on Layer Properties and that will open up your layer properties manager. And then what you can do is you can apply a line type to a layer. So we've got the carpets layer there, like so. And at the moment, it's using the continuous line type. So I click on the word Continuous, and there's some line types that are already loaded in the drawing. Now…
