- [Instructor] We've talked about the user story mapping tool. Its benefits and challenges and covered the prep work. Now let's get our hands dirty by creating our first map. There are many tools that you can use to create a user story map. Tools like Jira, SpecMap. Every tool comes with its benefits and challenges. Some benefits of using the tools are the map and the product backlog are in one location. The product owner or business analyst will have to maintain the user stories in two locations. All user stories added to the map are also reflected in the product backlog. The team has one source of collaboration. And the challenge is after the trial period ends, there is a fee to continue to use the tool. For this exercise, I am using Google Sheets. It is free and accessible to everyone.
