- [Instructor] Every project needs a plan, but sometimes even the most carefully developed plan needs to change, especially in an Agile project, where iteration and flexibility are essential. In this video, we'll talk about using the user story map to conduct release and sprint planning. Let's start by defining release and sprint planning. A release is the distribution of the final version or the upgraded version of a product. For instance, the release of manage HT Rental Car account. Planning a release involves identifying and prioritizing the user stories to be delivered for the product being built. A release is made of several sprints. In our case, we have three sprints. A sprint is a time-boxed iteration with a start and end date. A sprint can be anywhere from one to four weeks.
