What's next: Migrate to Vertex API

- [Instructor] As I mentioned at the start of this course, the Gemini Developer API that I was using is intended to be used for prototyping and testing only, not for production apps. And that's because of certain security considerations. If you want to migrate from the Gemini Developer API to the Vertex AI Gemini API, that's the one you should use for production, you can start at this page on the Google Cloud website. You'll find a listing of differences between the two APIs, things that the Vertex API can do that the Gemini Developer API can't. And you'll also find descriptions of the pricing options. The Vertex AI Gemini API is the API you want to use when you want to deploy production applications that integrate the Gemini large language model.
