Big data in the age of AI
- [Narrator] 10 years ago, we were deep in the big data revolution where the volume, velocity, and variety of data overwhelm the systems used to store and manipulate and analyze it. Now we're in the artificial intelligence revolution, but it's important to remember that big data hasn't gone away and it hasn't become irrelevant. Rather, big data has become the new normal. It's everywhere, and it's what makes artificial intelligence possible, as well as critical insights in your own work. In this non-technical discussion, we'll look at ways that you can learn from big data and the technologies that make it possible to find actionable insights in the data that you work with and solve the problems that matter to you. I'm Barton Poulson, and I've been teaching people to use data of all kinds to solve practical problems for over 30 years. It's a whole new world, and so let's get started with big data in the age of AI.
