- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, it'll help if you have some foundational knowledge. Here are some prerequisites that will help you. An understanding of Azure cloud and hosting terminology will be useful. Some lessons include code samples, so an understanding of coding and programming logic will also be helpful. We'll be discussing web services in Azure and APIs, so an awareness of these is also required. Some nice to know concepts include an understanding of variables when coding, passing parameters between functions and a knowledge of text analytics and natural language processing. It will also be helpful if you have an awareness of chatbots. Don't worry too much about any of this, however, as we'll cover all these concepts and more throughout this course. You may prefer to get a better understanding of some of the prerequisites that have just been mentioned. I'd recommend checking out the C# Fundamentals course by Joe Marini. Another course to check out is the Cognitive Services for Developers by Sahil Malik.
