- [Instructor] Now that we've seen how to create sample lines, let's use those sample lines to create section views. We'll begin with creating single section views. So I'd like to create a section view for a specific sample line. I'm going to zoom into this 90 degree bend in Jordan Court and find sample line 13 plus 25. You can see it labeled right here. I'll carefully click the sample line, the blue line, and then on the ribbon, I'll select create section view, and then create section view again. Now you're going to see a lot of similarities between section views and profile views. So as we go through this, you might think I've seen this before. So the first dialogue is the general dialogue, and here we do things like choose the alignment, the sample line group, and the sample line. All of those options were selected by default because I selected the sample line first. So it picked up all of that information from the sample line itself.
