- Earlier we learned about profile labels, which annotated the entire profile everywhere a specific geometric component existed. But what about those one-off labels? That's where profile view labels come in. So what we want to do in this example is provide some labels in this area of our profile, specifically where this tie-in point is, and this ditch. What I'd like to do is label this point with its station and elevation and also signify that this is where the profile is to tie into the edge of the existing road. To do this, I'll select the profile view grid and select add view labels. And we've got two choices here, station elevation or depth. I'm going to pick station elevation. I'll use my shift right click and then pick endpoint. And under this black dot is the endpoint on the profile. So you can see the green square popping up there indicating the endpoint snap. Now I have to snap twice here. The first time is for the station. And then I'll do it again. Shift right click…
