- [Host] In the previous video, you learned how to create parcel segment labels. Now let's take a look at how you can use styles to change their content and appearance. We're going to focus our attention on this existing property line along the west side of the property. We've taken this long line, it happens to be almost 1200 feet long and we've subdivided it in a few places by creating these new lots. And you'll see that in these labels, the bearing of South 2730, 27.93 seconds west is repeated again and again. And that's really not an efficient way to show the bearing and distance labels. It would be better to show this as one straight bearing and then label the distances individually. So let's do that. So I'm going to press Escape to make sure I don't have anything selected in the drawing. I'll click this label and then go to label Properties. Now interestingly, there's no label properties dialogue for segment labels. You go straight to the AutoCAD properties command. That's fine,…
