- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD Tip and Trick. In this particular Tip and Trick, we're going to be taking a look at the AutoCAD interface and a particular part of the AutoCAD interface called palettes. We're going to get you using palettes effectively in your AutoCAD drawings. Now, for that, we have a drawing for you in the library. It's called 419 Palettes.dwg. Download it from the library and open it up in AutoCAD and just make sure you are in the Model tab. You'll see that the drawing is a simple 2D floor plan of a little office building. Just make sure in your Layers panel on the layer dropdown that you are using the Landscaping layer. You want Landscaping as your current layer. Now, I mentioned about palettes and how they're a really useful part of the AutoCAD interface. Well, how do you get these palettes available to you? Well, it's very easy.
