- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. Now in this particular Tips and Tricks video, we're going to take a bit of a deeper dive into the AutoCAD Blocks palette. So we've got a new drawing for you, it's called 379-BlocksPalette.dwg. Download the file from the library as usual to follow along with this particular Tips and Tricks video. Now when you open up the drawing and go to the Model tab, you'll see that there's three blocks in the drawing. On the Home tab on the ribbon, you'll notice that Blocks is the current drafting layer, as you can see there in the Layers panel. And each of these blocks here is on the Blocks layer, like so, it's a red layer you'll notice. So these are all blocks and they're on the Blocks layer. Now, in order to bring up the Blocks palette, the quickest way is to go to the Insert tab on the ribbon, click on the Insert flyout on the Block panel, and just go to Recent Blocks there,…
