- [Instructor] We're going to take a look now at how we match properties in an AutoCAD drawing. It's another AutoCAD tip and trick, and as usual, we've got a drawing for you. It's 332 Match Properties.dwg and you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, you'll notice it's the little office plan that I often use for my tips and tricks videos, but it has a subtle difference this time. Some of the layering and the properties of some of the blocks in the drawing aren't quite as they seem. If I hover over here, you'll notice that this block is on the layer Chairs because it's a chair. This block is on the layer PCs, because it is a PC. The desk, you'll notice, is on the Desks layer, and the plant there is on the Plants layer. If I come over here though, this desk is on the zero layer.
