409 MODELING - Using SUBTRACT when solid editing in 3D

- [Instructor] We're working in 3D modeling in this particular AutoCAD tips and tricks video. And we're going to be taking a look at solid editing, in particular the subtract command in solid editing. Now, just before we get started into this particular tips and tricks video, you might want to download the drawing. The drawing is called 409 Solid Editing SUBTRACT.dwg. When you download it, open it up. You should be in the Model tab, and you should also be using the 3D Modeling AutoCAD workspace. If you're not using that workspace, come down to the status bar, to the little gear wheel cog. Click on it, and you'll see the different workspaces available. By default, AutoCAD uses Drafting & Annotation. You want to use 3D modeling. Don't use 3D Basics 'cause it is a bit basic. And you want 3D Modeling there. Select that and you'll get the ribbon that you can see at the top of the screen at the moment. I'll just hit Escape…
