- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We're going to take a look at some features in the utilities panel, in the home tab on the ribbon today for our tip and trick. And what we're going to look at is the Quick Select command. It's a very under-used and under-rated command in AutoCAD and it allows you to work smarter and faster in your AutoCAD drawings. We've got a new drawing for you: 246_UTILITIES_QuickSelect.dwg. You can see the name of the file up there in the title bar of AutoCAD. You can download it from the library as usual to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now Quick Select is a wonderful, wonderful tool. I really like Quick Select. It allows me to select lots of objects, rather than having to select them individually. So we're in our floor plan, which is our 246_UTILITIES_QuickSelect.dwg file. And you can see we've got lots of different elements in the drawing.…
