Working with object selection in 3D AutoCAD
- [Instructor] We're in a new drawing now called Object Selection.dwg and you know the drill by now. Download it from the library to follow along with the video. Now, in this particular drawing, when you open it up in the Model tab, you'll see that we've got our 3D solid, which will look familiar to you by now. It's a little mechanical part with a couple of holes in it and a little cylindrical spigot coming off of the top face of the plate. Now, there's our 3D solid. If I hover over that, you'll see it's a 3D solid, and you'll see we've also got a couple of geometric lines. There's a line there and there's a line there, and if you're really, really eagle-eyed, you'll also see inside here, there is actually a circle in here that was actually used to create the cylindrical spigot as well. Now, when you're selecting objects in 3D in AutoCAD, sometimes things can be a little bit weird if you are used to, what I would call,…
