Using the exercise files

- [Narrator] Here's a few tips when using the exercise files for this particular course. All of the exercise files are stored in the LinkedIn Learning Library, and you can download them as a zip file and store them locally on your computer or perhaps in the cloud or on a server folder somewhere. I will let you know what you need for each chapter and video as we work through the course. So for each particular drawing that we're working on, I'll let you know which file you should be using. Any drawings that you use in this particular course will be in the AutoCAD DWG file format, unless I tell you otherwise. And all files are saved in the AutoCAD 2013 DWG file format. Now, the reason we do that is to make sure that any version of AutoCAD from 2013 and above can read the files and use them for this particular course. Each chapter uses its own AutoCAD DWG files. It'll all be broken down per folder. And ideally, download the exercise files before starting the course. There's nothing worse than having to go and find them in the library while you're trying to watch one of the videos. Download them first, store them in a known location so that you know where they are.
