- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now where we're going to take a look at plotting and publishing, our little mechanical plate that we've designed in 3D and AutoCAD. Now it is a very simple design and I've done that deliberately so that it doesn't take away from learning the workflows and methodologies that you need to use when your 3D modeling in mechanical design in AutoCAD. Now when you open up the new drawing which is Metal Plate_PUBLISHING.dwg, you'll see the metal plate there in the top view in the model tab. So download the drawing from the library, Metal Plate_PUBLISHING.dwg, and when you open it up, it should look like what you've got on the screen. Now we're in the top view in the model tab and we're using... At the moment, you can see the conceptual visual style which is absolutely fine for our purposes right now.
