- We're starting a new chapter now and we're going to take a little look at how we annotate our little mechanical 3D drawings that we're creating. Now in this particular case is a little mechanical 3D drawing. It's a small little plate with four holes in it. Now obviously, you're going to have much, much more complex mechanical designs that you might want to annotate. So hopefully this chapter will give you a few pointers on how to work with annotation, layer naming philosophy, dimension styles, and annotative scaling as well which is really, really useful. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called a metal plate annotation.dwg and you know how to do it. Download it from the library to use to follow along with the videos in this particular chapter.
