Exporting to other file formats
- [Instructor] We're staying in our Metal Plate_PUBLISHING.dwg file, and you can see that I'm in the Metal Plate GA and Details tab, still in the layouts app. We're also in the output tab on the ribbon looking at obviously plotting, publishing, etcetera. Now one of the things you can do when you're working in 3D modeling with your mechanical design, is you can export out to different file types. Now this is this panel here on the output tab on the ribbon, "Export to DWF/PDF." Now up until now we've been using our page setup, which has been preset to a landscape ISO A3 PDF. However, I can use these tools here to export out to different file types. So if I click on the file out here, I can go out to a DWFx, a DWF, or a PDF. I don't need to worry about PDF 'cause it's already in my page setup, but I could send it out to a different type of PDF where settings are different. And I can basically publish by exporting…
