- [Instructor] We're staying in our Simple 3D Design.dwg file, and you can see I've left it in the same state as it was at the end of the last video. So we've got the top view here. As you can see, there's the top view. We're using the parallel setup and you'll see that the visual style there is conceptual. So you can see the conceptual utilizes that red from the objects layer. It gives you that nice shaded effect which makes it look quite real life and effective in your drawings. Now we're going to take a little look at named views in AutoCAD now. Now name views you can use in 2D or 3D. But in 3D they're extremely effective because they allow you to have named views in complex 3D models.
