- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now where we're going to look at how we can communicate our design intent. Now we did do that a little bit in the previous chapter where we set up all of our standard views using our drafting standards and the settings for things like detailed views, and section views, and so on. But sometimes you might want to create your own view ports to your own scales, and set up different visual styles in the view ports to communicate the design perhaps a little bit more effectively. So what we're going to look at now is doing the manual method of bringing the view ports into our layouts app. So we've got a new drawing for you. I've called it Metal Plate_FINAL DESIGN.dwg. You know the drill by now. Make sure it's downloaded from the library to follow along with the videos in this particular chapter.
