Working with absolute and relative 3D coordinates
- [Instructor] We're staying in our 3D design.DWG file. And one of the things that you'll use to create your 3D design is your coordinates in AutoCAD. Your absolute coordinates and your relative coordinates. So we need to think about those and how we work with those in a 3D environment, because we've now got the Zed access to think about that extra third dimension or Z access, depending obviously on where you live. In America, it's Z, in the UK, it's Zed. I will use Zed because it's what I'm used to because I'm English obviously, but obviously, there's things like Sesame street to explain all of this in my childhood, Z and Zed. Now, what we're going to look at is how we work with those absolute and relative coordinates in a 3D environment. It's really important that we know how to do this just in case we ever need to do it. A lot of the time you will be using snaps. Talking of snaps, you want to go down to customization…
