- [Instructor] We're staying in our 3dhousedesign.DWG file. And as you can see, we're in our 3D modeling workspace and currently in the elevations 3D layout tab. Now, one of the things that you can do with AutoCAD in 3D is apply materials to surfaces in your model. So what we're going to do now, we're going to jump back to the model tab and zoom out slightly and we need to look at our 3D model, which is actually here, like so. And what you want to do is go to the Southwest isometric like that and zoom in so that you can see the 3D model. Now at the moment it's in 2D wireframes so it does look a bit convoluted and a bit messy. Let's jump back to our realistic visual style and you can see that it looks obviously much better in the scheme of things. And what we want to do now is think about some materials.
