Using groups with geometry in AutoCAD
- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now where we're going to be taking a look at reusable content in AutoCAD. We've got a new drawing for you. It's called New Office Project.dwg. And as usual, you can download it from the library to follow along. Now you'll recognize the new office project drawing. We've used it before and it's just got a different file name for this particular chapter. And in this particular video, we're going to look at the reusable content that is known as groups. Now we're going to zoom in on the bin store on the right hand side. So get that front and central like so. And then the group's panel is on the home tab on the ribbon, click on the fly out for groups and just pin it open like we've done previously. Now the group bounding box is on. Make sure it's always on. Then you can identify your group easily. I'm going to go to the group manager icon there and click on it. And as you can see, we have no groups at the moment.
