Creating and using table styles

Once again we're staying in our metalplate002.dwg file and we're going to take a look at creating a simple table style so that we can add some table annotation to our drawing. Now we're going to create a non-annotative table style and we're going to place it underneath our section and side view here. So we'll have a little table under here and it'll just mention our whole types. Now you can set this up to be annotative if you want to. Tables can be annotative if you really want them to be. And what that means is everything will size accordingly to that 1 to 2 scale. remember we set that earlier so we'll leave that at 1 to 2 because we want this to appear in a viewport. Now what we're going to do is go to the annotate tab on the ribbon there's our tables panel and click on the arrow there that'll bring up our table style manager we're going to click on new and the new style name will be whole types like so and we'll start with standard as you can see it's just a standard table style…
