Working with the file tabs
- In this chapter, we're going to take a quick look at some other tools that you can use in AutoCAD to work with your drawings more effectively. You'll recognize the floor plan we've been working on it for various videos in various chapters. And you can see that we've got things like our new tables that we created and the outdoor space with the tables and the little bike bays at the end of the landscaped area there. Now, one of the things that is really, really useful in AutoCAD is your file tabs. Now, at the moment, we've only got the one drawing open which is our ground floor plan REV3.DWG. Now the nice thing is AutoCAD tells you that but it also tells you if you've got any other drawings open. So for example, I could potentially go up here to the new button on the quick access toolbar. And I might open up a new drawing from a template something like ACADISO.DWT like that, click on open. And there's a new drawing there…
