- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our interface dot DWG file. And what I want to talk you through now is utilizing your AutoDesk account with your AutoCAD interface. Now, it's really important because in the later versions of AutoCAD, it's a subscription based product. So you have to sign into your AutoDesk account to actually get access your AutoCAD license. I explained this earlier, over here on the info bar you can see the little blue head and shoulders like so, and that tells me that I'm signed into my AutoDesk account. If I click on the little fly out here, I can gain access to my account details, explore purchase options, manage my AutoCAD license, check my privacy settings. I can also sign out and quit AutoCAD if I want to. But ideally you want to stay signed into your AutoCAD via your Autodesk account. I'm just going to hit escape a couple of times and show you why.
