Using workspaces in AutoCAD
- [Instructor] Once again we're staying in our interface.gwg file. And it's so much easier to work in AutoCAD when you've got an actual drawing file open. If you don't have one open, you can't get access to things like the ribbon for example, which we covered in the previous video. Talking of the ribbon, I want to talk about now workspaces in AutoCAD. And how you can utilize workspaces, to customize your user interface a little bit. Workspaces are really useful. Now you'll remember, we talked about the quick access toolbar, didn't we? I'm going to go back up to the quick access toolbar, and hit the little eject symbol. And that will allow me to obviously customize my quick access toolbar. You'll notice on the list there's one called workspace. If I click on that, that'll now show me the workspaces available to me, in my AutoCAD installation.
