- [Instructor] We're staying in our officelayout.dwg file and we're going to take a look at the Move and Copy commands available to you in AutoCAD. Now, you've got two ways, well, you've actually got four ways of doing this, but you've got two ways on screen in front of you that will allow you to move and copy. I can go up to Move or Copy here on the Modify Panel, on the Home Tab. There's Move, there's Copy. If I click on either of those, Copy then prompts me to select the object I want to copy. I could also select the object first with the noun/verb selection setting, and then select Copy here, and it prompts me for a base point to copy. However, the quickest way you'll often find is to select the object, like the desk, right click, and you've got Move and Copy on the Shortcut menu.
