- We're staying in our new metal plate dot DWG file. And in the previous video we placed our annotative text for our side view label here. We're now going to place some annotative dimensions. Now, what I've already done in this drawing for you is set up an annotative dimension style. We've also got our dimensions layer in place, in the drawing as well. So I don't need to worry too much about creating a dimension style. We've already talked about it previously in the course, anyway I just want to dive a bit deeper into the actual techniques that you use to place your annotative dimensions in a drawing. So we are looking at the section view and the side view so in our layout tab, sections and elevations down here, our view port here, should have a scale. So when we click on it, you can see it's 1-2.
