What is spatial computing?
- [Instructor] So the term, spatial computing, is used by Apple to describe the way the digital content on the Vision Pro seamlessly blends into the physical world around you. As we saw earlier, the pass-through mode allows you to see your actual environment while wearing the headset. And when you're working with apps and windows, you can size and arrange them in relation to the layout of your room or rooms. And I say rooms plural because when you place a window in your space, it stays there persistently. Regardless if you're just moving your head or if you get up and walk out of the room, the windows stay exactly where you left them. The windows look and feel like they're physically present in the space you put them in. So you could do things like leave a website open to a recipe in the kitchen along with a weather report while watching videos in your living room. And this is what spatial computing is about.
