- Believe it or not, generative AI has only been accessible to the masses for a little over a year as of this recording. It's an exciting time right now. It's kind of like the Wild West of technology, minus the wide-brimmed hats and fringed sleeves, of course. It's a land grab era where lots of people are on a mad dash for quick profits and headlines. Things haven't quite settled down yet, though I reckon they will pretty quickly. Currently, AI tools aren't perfectly integrated into the software that you use daily. We're starting to see it happen, though. At the time of this recording, Microsoft has just released a version of their Copilot AI that integrates with Word, PowerPoint, and even Excel. So expect to see more seamless integration with many of the other trusty applications that you use very soon. For most of the examples we're going to discuss, you'll find yourself doing a fair bit of copying and pasting of the AI output into whatever software you're working with. And you know…
