Overview of the project case study
In this course, we're going to use a case study to explore agile and hybrid project management with Microsoft Project. ConnectEco is a manufacturing company that wants to reduce its inventory costs and improve its responsiveness to customers. The company's strategy includes improving its supply chain and reducing inventory levels. In addition, senior management wants a manufacturing and logistics dashboard to support decision-making with real-time data. This project uses a combination of agile and traditional waterfall approaches. The requirements for the supply chain improvements are relatively well known, and the software vendor has a well-defined process for implementing its software. This portion of the project will use traditional project management techniques. The Manufacturing and logistics dashboard effort will use agile.
