Handle incomplete features
Sprints don't run longer if a feature isn't finished. And because Agile focuses on delivering value, most organizations don't count points for incomplete features. Instead, the feature goes back to the backlog to be reevaluated for a future sprint. Let's take a look at how to handle this in Project. Let's start by going to our custom view, C-Backlog. One way to display a view is to go to the left side of the screen where it has the window name. Right-click, and on the Pop-up menu, choose the view you want. Let's assign these first two features their Priority 1 to Sprint 2. Click the Sprint cell, click the down arrow, and choose Sprint 2. Go to the next feature and do the same thing. Now let's add progress for these features. Go to the Sprints tab, click the Task Board, and we want to look at Sprint 2. Click the bottom half of the Sprint button and choose that sprint.
