But what we may not realize is this is because what we're looking at follows good design principles. There are courses in the library that focus a lot more on how to design effective Power BI dashboards or report views, but even just organizing our existing loan models a bit can make a big impact on how we communicate our results to a wider audience. A few design principles that I've found immensely helpful in building Power BI models that effectively communicate data outcomes to the end users include using a maximum of three visuals on a single page, adding clear labels to charts and choosing a few colors to use effectively.
