- [Instructor] When a visual design looks good, we like it more and sometimes we can't explain exactly why. But what we may not realize is this is because what we're looking at follows good design principles. There are courses in the library that focus a lot more on how to design effective Power BI dashboards or report views, but even just organizing our existing loan models a bit can make a big impact on how we communicate our results to a wider audience. A few design principles that I've found immensely helpful in building Power BI models that effectively communicate data outcomes to the end users include using a maximum of three visuals on a single page, adding clear labels to charts and choosing a few colors to use effectively.
