Using a compelling chart to present data
- [Instructor] Charts are great for comparing different sets of data and they help people understand information. Let's take a look at how to add and customize a chart in a graphical report. So we're going to head to the report tab and then click custom. And I'm going to choose the custom report that we created earlier. Let's say that I want to put a different chart where the percent complete chart is, so I can click that chart and then press Ctrl + X to delete it. Now on the report design tab, in the insert section, click chart, there are all sorts of charts that you can add and they're similar to the ones available in Excel. Suppose you want to see how work is going by time period. I'm going to go to the last category called combo, and use the clustered column line chart that has two sets of columns and then a line to show trends.
