Power BI development pipelines
- [Instructor] Power BI Development Pipelines existed before Git in the environment. Development pipelines were created to manage the migration of report content, including reports, semantic models and dashboards from a dev workspace to a test workspace, to a production workspace. Development pipelines are the only way to move dashboards to other workspaces since they're not including in DevOps as of this recording. You do need a premium license to use this feature, so if you don't see it in your environment, it's because you probably don't have a license for it. If you're using a fabric trial, the license for development pipelines is included. Development pipelines are found inside of the Power BI section of fabric and click on the ellipse menu where Microsoft hides the cool stuff. If you don't see it on the left, that's where you have the development pipelines. So we are going to create a new pipeline.
