Creating a hands-on tutorial
- [Instructor] The past few releases of Animate have included a small number of hands-on integrated tutorials, available to new users to interact with. With this new release, we have direct access to a mechanism to produce and distribute original in-app tutorial content of our own. Before we get started with that, there are a couple of files we're going to need. One thing we need to do is to generate an Animate preferences file. We can do that by going to preferences, which on windows is located under the edit menu and on macOS is located within the Animate menu. Go to preferences and choose to export preferences. We also need a starter FLA file. So I've created this starter FLA here that does a snowdrift background, and it's got a place for us to build a little snowman, which is what we'll do inside of the hands on tutorial.
